Only the time block — start time and end time. The event on your work calendar is always titled “Busy” and marked as private. Titles, attendees, descriptions, locations, and attachments are never copied.
No. They'll see the time slot is blocked — that's it. The event is marked private, so Google Calendar hides all details from other viewers. It looks exactly like you manually created a “Busy” block.
Google's free/busy only works within the same Google Workspace domain. Busy Mirror works across completely separate Google accounts — your personal Gmail and your work Workspace account. It also runs automatically in the background.
Not yet. Busy Mirror currently works with Google Calendar only. We're exploring other calendar providers for the future.
The minimum needed to run the service: your OAuth login tokens (encrypted), which calendars you selected, and a record of which personal event maps to which work event (IDs and timestamps only — never the event content itself).
Syncing pauses automatically. You'll see a “Reconnect” prompt on your dashboard and receive an email. The fix takes about 30 seconds — click “Reconnect” and re-authorize.
Yes. Hit “Pause” on your dashboard and syncing stops immediately. Existing busy blocks stay on your work calendar. Hit “Resume” whenever you're ready.
The corresponding “Busy” block on your work calendar is updated or removed automatically on the next sync cycle (within a few minutes).
You set up your account, connect your calendars, and see Busy Mirror working before entering payment details. Your card is charged after the 14-day trial ends. Cancel anytime during the trial — no charge.

Troubleshooting

Workspace restrictions
Some Google Workspace admins restrict third-party OAuth apps. If the consent screen fails, ask your IT admin to allow the Busy Mirror app, or try connecting from a personal Google account first.
Wrong Google account
If Google logs you into the wrong profile during setup, open an incognito/private browser window and try again.
"Invalid grant" errors
This usually means your refresh token was revoked — use the "Reconnect" button on your dashboard.
